Residence Inn by Marriott Halifax Downtown

This hotel offers excellent facilities. The King room was very well equipped, spotless, and every detail was impeccable. The location is outstanding—just steps away from restaurants and nightlife. I would like to highlight the exceptional customer service. I accidentally left my wallet in the room, and it was promptly and safely recovered by the housekeeping staff, who were extremely kind and honest. Although I experienced an issue with my room that unfortunately could not be resolved during my stay, the front desk staff went above and beyond to make my experience as comfortable as possible. My communication with the manager was consistent and excellent, which further reflects the strong commitment to guest satisfaction. Without a doubt, I would stay here again.

We stayed at the Residence Inn for about a week leading up to our wedding. The staff were exceptional. When kind gentlemen at the front desk learned we were in town to get married, they changed our room so we had a view of the Harbour. On our wedding night, we came back to find our room decorated with balloons and handwritten notes from the front desk staff and the housekeeping staff wishing us well. Everyone went above and beyond to make our stay special. We are forever grateful!

Very central, clean and well maintained

The breakfast was descent and they had GF options for me. The 2 bedroom suite worked out perfectly me, my husband, baby, toddler, and parents. The bathrooms were big - big enough to fit a pack & play, so it was like having an extra bedroom for our toddler.

Loved that the two Queen bedroom suite plus pull out sofa in the living room and kitchenette was an option for our family! Was so nice instead of two separate hotel rooms. Beds were comfy. Two large bathrooms. Has been updated. Front desk staff were great. Included breakfast was excellent.
